Our Softwashing Process

Some recent softwash treatment on pebble dash wall's. On this bungalow we had to take 3 steps to get this property looking in brilliant condition removing most stains the customer wanted instant results.

STEP 1....

We used a government approved chemical cleaning product to remove most off the dirt. 

STEP 2....

We then rinsed all of the wall's down with low pressure water making sure there's no chemical left on the property.

STEP 3.... 

We then applied a government approved chemical to treat any growth that is left on these wall's, this will break down any bio-film that's left, over the remaining 9 months. Customer delighted with the results. 

Full Pebble Dash Home Cleaned

Test patch carried out for the client followed up with a full house treatment on these pebble dash wall's. We chemically cleaned the pebble dash wall's, also we chemically painted window sills leaving them to its original colour again. Then we spot treated any hard staining, followed up with some rust we've removed to finish the house of to a high standard.

K Rend Soft Washing with Instant Results

K-rend softwashing instant results.. A customer contacted us regarding the issue of black & red staining and asked us if we can clean this? We applied a chemically government approved product on the k-rend property and managed to bring these wall's back to the original colour. This house had it's first ever treatment even know this property is around 25 plus year's old. 25 year's of a build up of organic growth removed in 1 day by our chemically trained softwash applicaters!

K-rend softwashing

K-rend softwashing ... this customer had contacted us regarding the red algae on these wall's which are really bad. The client wanted to put this house up for sale and asked us could we tidy the property up, we pre treated the wall's of this property then returned 1 week later to remove carbon & any other tough stains that was left on these wall's with or biodegradable chemicals. Approximately 5 to 6 weeks later these results are amazing and still got around 8 months of the cleaning process to go.

Softwashing Fencing

Softwash treatment on surrounding fence. We've safely removed all green algae from this fence, both panels and pre treated it to prevent any further regrowth getting this job ready for painting. We all Softwashed the patio and treated this.

Softwashing Green Algae

We got a call from a couple that had the house up for sale. They asked us could we remove the green algae to help the appearance of this property. We advised them on best Softwashing method and they decided to go ahead. After contacting other companies they found us the most competitive and a wealth off knowledge. This customer had phoned me last week and asked us to clean the render, we sofwashed this render with a fully licenced product enabling us to work safely, we also protected the tree from any chemicals.

Soft Washing and Steam Cleaning

Customer contacted us regarding her roof, she wanted this cleaned up before they got new pvc on the outside of the house. We advised the customer a low pressure steam clean at 100 degrees heat and only 40 bar pressure we could most certainly get instant results for her. We cleaned this, then softwashed the roof to prolong the bio-film as after advising the customer that the bacteria would only grow back straight away, they decided to go for the treatment too. Not only instant results but a long time before the regrowth reappears thanks to the government approved chemicals that we use.

K Rend Softwashing

Some k-rend softwashing phase 1 & 2 on phase 1 we applied a pre treatment, fully biodegradable, bleach & acid free product on the render back in march and left it to dwell for 12 weeks to slowly kill all bacteria and any spores that was left........phase 2 post treatment we returned 12 week's later all bacteria had all been successfully removed and we we're left with black stains and carbon deposits, so we treated what was left with a fully licensed cleaning chemical, bringing the k-rend back to it's original colour......  2 different chemicals we're used to treat 2 different problems as this can not be done as 2 chemicals used at the same time can cause corrosion, hence the reason this was done phase 1 & 2

When cleaning some external surfaces such as roof tiles there is the danger of damaging the tiles by using high pressured cleaning. 

Soft washing only cleans the moss and dirt off the surface of the tile by using a calculated mixture of chemicals which are sprayed by low pressure onto the affected area. This can then be washed off after the chemicals have killed the moss, dirt and algae. Water alone during pressure washing would not be able to kill of moss and algae and even if a roof tile looks clean after pressure washing the surface, moss and algae have living spores which can remain behind .
